Mock Reading of AP Practice Test

Overview:
This workshop is specifically designed to provide AP® History Teachers with the experience of a “mock reading” on how to score the exam using rubrics and sample essays prepared by consultants.  Prior to workshop session teachers will administer to students mock AP® exam designed by consultants. Teachers would score the multiple-choice sections on their own, bringing only the short answers, long essay questions, and the DBQ for scoring at the workshop.

Learning Objectives:

●    Understand how to structure lessons to address student weaknesses in DBQ, long essay and short answer questions, and
●    Learn to utilize the time to focus on and correct deficiencies in student writing before the AP® exams.
