EQUITY SCHOOL TRANSFORMATION PLAN: ACE PLAN

The ACE plan is a comprehensive equity school transformational process that disrupts educational inequities and supports the four equity lens (culture, academic, systemic and resource equity) at schools. This plan can be adapted to focus on the entire school population or one or multiple ethnic groups within the school.

This process supports birth-K and grades K-12 educators, parents/families

LITERACY CORE (ENGLISH, MATH, SCIENCE, SOCIAL SCIENCE) CONTENT

Our workshops are designed to provide educators with high quality training, resources, consulting, and professional coaching with literacy content that is current, culturally relevant and easily assimilated into their daily practice. We provide face-to-face and virtual literacy professional development in CORE subjects, world languages and the arts.
These workshops support
literacy students birth-K and grades K-12.

HELPING LEADERS DEVELOP A CULTURALLY RESPONSIVE MIND-SET

In this workshop district, school, teacher and parent leadership teams will examine the components of culturally responsive teaching and learning, through the lens of attitudes, beliefs and behaviors that hinder and promote equitable college access for all students.
These workshops support literacy students birth-K and grades K-12.

UNLOCKING KEY CONCEPTS TO SUPPORT AP®, PRE-AP® AND ENGLISH LEARNER

These face-to-face and virtual literacy content trainings will
unlock key content “big ideas” to assist Pre-AP®, AP®, English l
earner and Long Term English learner teachers. These workshops support literacy content teachers in grades 6-12.

Collaborate

At the LDM Group, we collaborate with educational institutions to bridge systems of support for TK-12 districts, schools, higher educational institutions and County Office of Education to advance equitable college access for all students. We collaborate with educational institutions to build strong strategic plans supporting the federal government Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). We work with our clients to link systems of support for parents/families and community members to advance equitable college access.

Consult

We strengthen our client's use of data by developing equitable systems and processes for advancing and supporting college readiness pathways. The LDM Group examines and implements best practices that address educational equity and results in optimal student learning. We help our clients to understand and to effectively use formative and summative assessments to improve student preparation and performance.

The LDM Group assists our clients in the development of a systemic Equitable Advanced Learning Plan (EALP).

Coach

The LDM Group coaches educational leaders through face-to-face and virtual professional development emphasizing researched-based best college readiness practices. We implement train-the-trainer models and provide peer-to-peer coaching while utilizing data to inform instruction and improve classroom practice. We also use best practices and strategies to propel students from remediation to acceleration. Our equity leaders, literacy experts and parent/family coaches help educators to improve their students educational trajectory by closing opportunity and academic learning gaps.
